Team News

  • Togni is back available and should replace Colucci in the middle of the field.
  • After the defeat suffered at the Meazza, coach Bergodi may completely change his attacking duo, replacing Celik and Jonathas with Vukusic and Caraglio.
  • The latter just signed with the club, so he may also start on the bench and get some time on the pitch later on in the match.
  • Ventura will have some players back from suspension but the coach will be without his striker Bianchi.
  • Sansone will play up front together with Meggiorini to replace the captain.
  • Gazzi and Brighi are in competition to partner Basha in midfield.

  • Pescara's season has been a mismatch of heavy defeats and unexpected good results. They've managed to stay out of the relegation zone, but still they never start a match as the favourite team. Against Torino they have to take a step forward and prove that they deserve safety.
  • Toro are on a four-match unbeaten streak and have obtained 10 points in their 10 away matches, but only won once away from the Olimpico. This may be the best chance to do so, especially following the good result obtained last week despite their defensive problems.
  • The hosts are clearly looking for balance as they have the second-worst attacking record in the league and the worst defence, but somehow they've achieved victories that have kept them floating just above the relegation zone. They may start the match waiting for their opponents to make the first move, while Ventura is likely to launch his attacks down the flanks to try to control the game from the first half.
