Team News

  • Samuel is still injured, so Chivu will play once again in the centre of the defensive trio.
  • Cambiasso may start on the bench since Nagatomo has recovered from injury and Zanetti will be moved to the centre of midfield.
  • Cassano is back available and should start up front with Palacio, while Guarin will play just behind them.
  • Ogbonna is the only player unavailable in Ventura's roster, so Glik and Rodriguez will play as centre-backs.
  • Brighi and Basha are in competition to play in midfield along with Gazzi.
  • Santana and Cerci will be the two wingers, even if the latter suffered a minor injury during the week.

  • Inter are failing to maintain consistency, which is in part the result of two easy matches at home and three very tough trips so far this year.
  • Last week Torino proved once again to be more reliable away from the Olimpico by winning in Pescara in a crucial match at the bottom, and therefore will travel to Milan high in spirits.
  • Stramaccioni could try to take advantage from Ventura's offensive playing style and play counter-attacking football as he successfuly did between late September and early November. But Toro's coach could also field a more balanced formation in order to settle for a point and keep the unbeaten streak going (five matches so far).
