Lazio
Napoli
- Klose could be out for a couple of months, so the club picked up Louis Saha as a free agent to have another option up front.
- Floccari will start as the lone striker against Napoli, as the Frenchman will have to improve his fitness before playing.
- Hernanes is back available but he will have to play wearing protective headgear after the blow he took to his head.
- Dzemaili is suspended, so Behrami and Inler are pretty safe to play in the middle of the field.
- Britos is favoured to play over Campagnaro, who is not fully fit, in the three-man defence.
- Zuniga is likely to play on the left flank, but Armero could also be a valid option.
I understand the argument that Insigne might still be more effective as a sub at his age, but it's weird to me how Mazzarri is so much more patient with Pandev than Insigne, when Pandev is consistently less effective and 8 years older, also less suited to Napoli's style IMHO. Mazzarri seemed outraged by one poor performance by Insigne in the Europa League, with a weak team, but Pandev gets away with it playing in a full strength team over and over.
