Team News

  • Benatia will be back on the pitch for Udinese after playing at the AFCON, just in time to replace Danilo, who is suspended.
  • Therefore, Heurteaux will retain his place in the three-man defence along with Domizzi.
  • Lazzari is also unavailable and will be replaced by Pereyra in the midfield.
  • Ogbonna will still be unavailable, so Glik and Rodriguez should be pretty safe to play in the centre of the defence.
  • Coach Ventura will probably stick with the same XI that drew with Sampdoria last time around.
  • Meggiorini and Barreto will therefore keep Bianchi out once again.

  • Udinese were so close to drawing in San Siro last week before a refereeing mistake granted Milan the three points, but Guidolin's team is aware that they put in a good performance in Milan and that the fifth place is still not far off.
  • Torino have had three victories and four draws in their last seven matches, and they will probably travel to Udine trying to keep their unbeaten streak alive with just one point, enough to keep them away from the relegation battle.
  • The visitors' attacking style and Udinese's high tempo suggest that the match will be entertaining and have battles in different zones of the pitch. Udinese will try to exploit the centre with their midfielders providing for Muriel and Di Natale, while Torino should make good use of the flanks through Cerci and Santana. Both teams will be dangerous while counter-attacking, so should the match be in the balance in the second half, expect distances between the lines to widen and more goal scoring chances to occur.
