- Omer Toprak missed the weekend's game with Gladbach through suspension but will return to replace Daniel Schwaab on Thursday night.
- Sebastian Boenisch has been playing at left-back in place of Michal Kadlec and although the Czech has returned to fitness, Boenisch's form is likely to see him keep his place for now.
- Sidney Sam will hope to keep his place on the right-wing after scoring last time out, with Castro dropping back into the midfield, though Reinartz is a more defensive option.
- Jorge Jesus must decide whether to go with one or two up front in Leverkusen, with Lima, Rodrigo and Cardozo all fighting for places in the starting XI.
- Jardel should start ahead of the experienced Luisao, with Nemanja Matic acting as the protection to the back four.
- Ola John could get the nod over Gaitan on the left, with Salvio lining up on the opposite flank.
Well B.Leverkusen is making a great season so far, playing at home i think they are the favorites. Despite benfica´s value, they have a weakened midfield since loosing Javi Garcia and Witsel, and the have sloppy defenses. I think Leverkusen will win this game, but no doubt there will be goal from both sides, since both sides like to take ofensive meseures in the games they play.Im sure it will be a good game, hope B.Lervekusen wins.
