- Peter Odemwingie is a doubt after missing the dramatic defeat at Reading at the weekend, but may play against QPR, who recently had two bids rejected for the striker.
- Steven Reid, Claudio Yacob and Shane Long are also all doubtful, and though Steve Clarke will want them back, he won't risk anyone who could exacerbate their injury.
- Romelu Lukaku will hope to start again after his impressive performance, capped off by a brace, at the Madjeski.
- Harry Redknapp could stick with a similar lineup to that which drew against West Brom the first time around, though goalscorer that day Kieran Dyer has now been released from the club.
- Hoilett, Johnson and Zamora are all absent through injury, and DJ Campbell could be given another start up front, with Jay Bothroyd, and potential new signing Loic Remy also possibilities.
- Tal Ben Haim could play at the back again, while Ryan Nelsen's status is rather unclear, having agreed to go and manage Toronto FC but not yet left the London club.
