Liverpool
Hull
- Back to back defeats has seen Liverpool drop to 5th in the Premier League and Brendan Rodgers will be looking to return to winning ways with the welcome of Hull.
- The Reds boss is without injured sextet Sebastián Coates, José Enrique, Daniel Sturridge, Jon Flanagan, Mamadou Sakho and Joe Allen, while Jordan Henderson and Steven Gerrard are doubts.
- Rodgers may revert to a 3-man defence, which will see Kolo Touré come in alongside Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger while Iago Aspas could partner Luis Suárez up front.
- Hull's 6-0 win over Fulham will have filled them with confidence ahead of the trip to Liverpool, where they'll be looking to do the double over the Reds.
- Sone Aluko, Stephen Quinn and Joe Dudgeon are all sidelined through injury, while Robbie Brady is doubtful for the encounter at Anfield.
- Steve Bruce may persist with the same XI that started against Fulham at the weekend.
Agger may have just kept his place in the side for that.
