Team News
Tottenham
Sunderland
- Spurs could be lightweight up front with Soldado out, though Adebayor is expected to return. Soldado was carried off at Anfield last week but Adebayor has been training all week.
- Jan Vertonghen will miss out after coming off against Liverpool.
- Mousa Dembélé could come back in in central midfield after Gylfi Sigurdsson had a poor game in the loss at Liverpool.
- Chiriches and Paulinho are both in contention to start.
- Gus Poyet will surely recall Adam Johnson after he came off the bench and quickly showed himself as the team's best attacking threat in the loss to West Ham last week.
- Connor Wickham could continue up front, though he was ineffective last time out and either Borini or Altidore could play through the middle.
- Westwood and Fletcher remain absent.
Eriksen is better than Ozil.
The black caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaats ! 0-3
We have a prankster as our manager, tactical inept and being carried by the likes of Eriksen and Adebayor.I think this is a comfortable win for Spurs. But if gus poyet can find the blatant weaknesses in spurs defense , use their midfield intelligently and bully rentapleb..anything can happen.
I like your style Kreizi!
Eriksen is pure class too good for Spurs at time maybe he should have chosen L'pool
Eriksen is destined for big things
Eriksen, what a player. Both strikers on the score sheet.
Christian Eriksen! <3
Eriksen is worth40 millions alone. Will he stay at spurs? i doubt.
Eriksen was definitely the MOTM.
Nope. Eriksen deserves Man of the Match by far. Adebayor's first goal was blatant handball - no idea how nobody saw it, I noticed it straight away when it happened.
@Miike i agree but Rodgers has done excellent this season, now if only Liverpool can get some world class wingers they will be fine. Hopefully they land Konoplonkya
1-2
ERICKSON = CLASS!
ERIKSEN-SEN-SEN! THE KID IS A GENIUS!
Yids to lose.
2-1
wow, that happened. I left the game at half time.
Eriksen will be Tottenhams Bergkamp in 2-3 years, top young talent now if only Spurs can use Lamela properly
GOAL SUNDERLAND 1 NIL!!!!!!!
Spurs can one again get into the Europa League place with a win and Sunderland can get off from the rock bottom with a win. Watch this match live here: bit.ly/1jmBemZ
@miike Your memory is short isn't it. FSG are life-savers as well as great owners. They turned a club, on the brink of administration 3 years ago, into potential champions so calling them useless is unfair.
HalaMadrid, he'd have chosen Liverpool if we put the bid in for him, our backroom staff and owners are too tight and useless to put the bid In, they refused to pay £15m for him, we won't last long at the top if they don't buck their ideas up
