Team News

  • Arsene Wenger could name an unchanged XI from the win over Newcastle United with the Frenchman unlikely to have any players back from injury.
  • Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Thomas Vermaelen and Serge Gnabry though are closing in on a return to fitness.
  • Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Ryo Miyaichi, Abou Diaby and Kieran Gibbs are all out through injury.
  • Chris Brunt is expected to start at left-back with Steven Reid ruled out through injury.
  • He's joined on the sidelines by Liam Ridgewell and Zoltán Gera. Gareth McAuley though is available and should come back into the team alongside Jonas Olsson.
  • James Morrison is expected to come into the starting XI.

  • Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 17 at the Emirates, last losing at home to Aston Villa on the opening day of the season. A win here would guarantee a top-4 finish, regardless of how Everton perform on Saturday evening.
  • West Brom have won just 1 of their last 6 trips to Arsenal in all competitions and have won only 3 of their games away from home in the Premier League this season. Though not mathematically safe, a positive result will go a long way to securing their top-flight safety.
  • However, against an Arsenal side keen to attaining Champions League football next season, the Gunners are likely to secure a victory here.

  • we want you to stay, we want you to stay, bacary sagna, we.....really don't want you to leave for man city

  • COYG! Injuries derailed our season but we can finish on a high, CL football again and FA Cup is still acceptable, Wenger must find/buy 3-4 world class players to join next season, one to look at first is a prolific striker and secondly another Aaron Ramsey in the midfield, get Seamus Coleman as our new RB if Sagna leaves, Coleman is perfect. As per this game, I think it will be at least 3-1

  • @albgunn 3/4 world class players would be unrealistic for Real Madrid, you can hope for 3/4 good players, you shouldn't expect to sign world class players. I think you can get Griezmann, a fantastic player but far from world class

  • @Miike When he says world class I doubt he's implying its actual meaning. I think what he's trying to say is players like Draxler/Griezmann/Remy/possibly Benzema, who are all within reason.

  • @Miike hopefully Madrid sign Suàrez, then maybe we could temp Benzema to come link up with Özil, Hoping we raid the Bundesliga for Draxler, Gustavo & Jung too I'd be more than happy with that an maybe Kasper Schmeichel on a free as a back up keeper

  • knowing we secured 4th place, i'd play some youngster and rest important player like ramsey, ozil, & koscielny for Final Match and finally to winning something.. ooo to be gooners :D

  • 3-1

  • Support arsenal!!! Thank you so much Ben McAleer for prediction :)
