@HellKitchen- Clubs like Man City (and also PSG- any club owned by a rich businessman who knows nothing about football) are easy to con. No way did Liverpool genuinely value Sterling at £50m, it's closer to half that, but knowing City were the only realistic option, they put a price tag they thought they could get (possibly should've said £60m) and knew City could pay. PSG are even easier to squeeze money from.
hope man city will fall or even draw in this fixture, and yeah i am a red devil fan. as we all can see not of the big teams has had in easy in this week and i will predict that this game wont be any different
Yes, this game has some potential to be truly exciting but it might end with a goalless draw as well. That 2-3 prediction is rather ridiculous. Also, why would you think that the final WBA home victory last season is relevant to this fixture in any way. They just never prove to be.
I see baseball-cap Pulis has keep his secret weapon very secret indeed. Gnabry off the bench to score the 90th minute winner. West Brom 2 - 1 Man City.
@What4- Will be interesting to see how he does. A real talent. My big criticism of him is that he wants to go too central rather than take on full backs even though he has searing pace and excellent close-control. We have enough wingers who do that and he wont get past Chamberlain (who looks every bit our starting right winger for the foreseeable future) if he continues to want to be a number 10/winger hybrid.
@SteveHyland My criticism would be that he shoots too much from distance. Anyway, it can't hurt to have more talented young players, Man City would probably kill for a player like Gnabry.
great match for City.Looks like they'll be challenging for the title this year.
A deserved win for Man City...they could have won by more in the end
City were really enjoying themselves. A calm and confident performance. If Sterling is worth 50m, then Silva and Yaya would make a club bankrupt.

@SteveHyland Yup it's their habit like selling Torres for 50m.
@HellKitchen Except for Sterling, who isnt worth 50 million
@jchann1- That was his point...
I am so disappointed with the performance from W. B. Albion, i know they could sooo much better, good win for city tho.
@john666 West Brom got their tactics wrong, as well as city not letting them play.
@jchann1 that's true, good win to city, i was just expecting move from west brom
Last seasons the future champion begun season on Monday...
@John_0 City it will be
@John_0 exactly five previous seasons :)
Unusually shambolic display from a Pulis team, although they are sticking to their roots in kicking the better team to pieces.
David Silva's such a great player.. Makes Ozil look like a complete scrub
@MiguelSuave- Think how potent Spain's midfield could become once again with Busquets, Cazorla and Silva...
@MiguelSuave Cant agree more
nice to see yaya start the season well already has 2 today
Sterling's finish was nearly worth 50m...
@NotBiased Of Zimbabwe currency.
not Silva but Dawson if to be precise :)
@koziol.mutant Cicho tam!
Yaya yaa yaya yaa yaya yaa yaya Toure, Kolo koo lo kolo koo lo kolo koo loo Toure
First goal was Silva's.
Wow, nice start by Manchester City.
Silva scored. Toure assist. Very obvious on the replay , not sure how anyone could get this wrong
0-2 Sterling MOM

City's team is so strong, specially if they manage to get De Bruyne, but I still hope Bromwich steals a few points.
@arny.diaz.7 they need a new centerback and a new left back
The way the opening week has gone, I wouldn't be surprised with a draw or loss for City with them playing badly.
@SteveHyland True
@HellKitchen- Or maybe not! Lol

0-0, Pulis knows How to frustrate the bigger teams.
