And by the way. The prediction was disrespectful. Look at Bayern's away form, and Hannover's home form. This was never going to be a game in which Hannover got steam-rollered. Sometimes I make "mistakes", but I always make logical predictions. This one certainly wasn't a logical prediction by whoscored, and still wouldn't have been had it happened in my eyes.
@TacticalMastermind- With all respect, Hanover DID get steam-rolled in terms of general play, but Bayern's dominance didn't translate into goals. Usually when you have stats of 79% possession, 20 shots (compared to 6), 11 on target (compared to 1), you'd expect to have scored 3 or 4. Over the whole league season, prior to today, Bayern had scored a goal per every 7.1 shots and had around 20 shots per game (translating into 2.8 goals/game so nobody has to do the maths). There was never going to be an issue of whether they would create, just whether they would convert their chances and WhoScored obviously assumed they would convert at a similar rate as they have all season. Hanover's home form has been terrible incidentally. In their 8 league games, they have won 2 (both against fellow relegation-battlers) and lost 6 whereas Bayern's away form consists of 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss (the loss being against their bogey team). All the logic pointed to this being a big Bayern win imho.
@SteveHyland You seem to be forgetting the most important stat in football is goals. Bayern are scoring less than 2 per game away from home. Hannover are conceding less than 2 per game at home. What do you have to say about that?
@TacticalMastermind- I agree goals are the most (only) important stat in football but there's a difference between a team only conceding once because of a decent defence and a team conceding once because of opposition profligacy. This game was the latter (as have been a few at the Niedersachsenstadion this season) and I think it's impossible to use the logic that because Hanover have only conceded 2/game at home against opposition a tenth as good as Bayern (with the exception of Dortmund who are maybe half as good but themselves scored 4), they will continue that trend against Bayern. Only in Ligue Un is there a greater disparity between the top team and the rest of the league. I'm surprised Bayern continue to be wasteful with their chances away from home but I would not have been shocked if this was a 4, 5 or even a 6-0 win, regardless of the respective teams home/away form prior to this game. Ultimately though, your prediction was far closer than mine.
Defensively Munchen looks weak. No defensive presence in mid, and slow CDs. Having said that I don't know the team that they playing. The result who knows.......???

whoscored not very good and giving accurate team formations. They have just updated and and all of a sudden Pep's team selection makes sense.

@Truthful04 So Vidal, Alonso, and Martinez can't defend?
Bayern win, but by a small margin
1-2
Hat-trick for Thomas Muller.
Bayern win but btts
1-0 bayern
@glenbayern- Well done. I thought 1 would open the gates for Bayern but obviously not.
4-0 Bayern.
