It is very funny that people are going crazy just after one game. Real's injury list is long, much of them are coming back from injury. So, it does not seems very unexpected result. Only thing is that they miss Benzema so much, they needed another Striker to cover his place. But as usual in the transfer window, I was sure that real will sign a world class striker. But instead they signed Danilo and Kovacic when they have Carvajal and Isco is still looking for place.
So is Ronaldo the most important player at Real this season? Or is it Ramos? Someone though was missing (and missed too! - big time), weren't they? Draw your own conclusions.
I am not lying when I say I had a feeling Sevilla would win when I found out that Benzema wasn't going to play.If Benzema is out for the clasico I predict a 2010 esque Classico, where Neymar will receive a standing ovation like Ronaldinho.
I feel sorry for Real Madrid players, they work so hard on the pitch and the other guy steal the show. If only the guy gets injured, then they might have something this season.
@neumi17 If you say that about Rodriguez, then what can you say about Bale? He's the very embodiment of what you just described Shürrle and Rodriguez, powerful shot, strong on his feet, incredibly fast, but physical feats are where his advantages pretty much end at this level of competition. If you're seriously talking about James Rodriguez, then I'd argue that he has a better touch and vision than Schürrle and Bale combined.
Seville is so much better in almost all aspects of the game, it's scary!
Real can be happy if they don't get Bayern in the CL in that shape. This would get ugly, 6-0 or so...
i kniw our defending has been off but i mean come on casilla you are an incompetent fool atleast make an effort your making rob green look like neuer compared to you
Varane, James and Jesé on bench today for Real Madrid. Cheryshev not included in squad not even on bench. Nacho starts at left back. Ramos and Pepe partner to form the central defence. Kroos, Modrić and Casemiro form the midfield. Bale, Isco and Ronaldo start upfront. Kiko Casilla starts in goal for the away side. No real surprises for the fans except the inclusion of Gareth Bale straight into the starting lineup.
@kummerspeck I dont know but he's mediocre. Neymar and Suarez on the other hand are on different level since they came to spain. I'm sure many would agre.
2-2 .
Sevilla last season out were unbeaten in home soil only failing to Madrid 0-3 in 10 mins. Later to score 2 goals in 2HT . This season fatigue has knocked them due to involvment in champions league and La Liga. Sevilla is a solid team attackewise. With Madrid @1.92 that means a harder game . Trust me . Sevilla edged out Barca 2-1 . And that shows they can cause a huge upset to Madrid . Id rather back back OV35 @2.5 odds than back Madrid .
From the announced national team selections so far what i have found out is:
Casilla,Nacho,Carvajal,Arbeloa,Kroos,Modric,Bale,Ronaldo,Jese,L.Vasquez and Benzema have not been called up by their national teams and therefore will have a two week period from Sevilla game on 8/11 till Barcelona game on 21/11 to rest, recover and work to get fully fit and ready.
Marcelo got injured in the PSG game and one can assume Brazil national team doctors will assess him and let Dunga know he is no condition to participate so he will most likely accompany the above mentioned players and stay in Madrid to recover for the Barcelona game.
For Navas,Danilo,Casemiro,Cheryshev and James i haven't found any news yet on either they were called up or not.
Varane,Pepe,Ramos and Isco have been called up by their national teams. Kovacic have been called up by the Croatian u21 team.
Hopefully no other player gets injured until the Barca game and that they are all fully fit and ready in time.
Only Marcelo and Navas didn't participate in Thursday's training session. Benzema did some exercises with his teammates and some on his own. The rest of the players among others including Bale,Arbeloa,James,Carvajal,Modric,Kovacic,Ramos,Pepe,Danilo and Isco, who have either been injured or have returned from injuries recently, did intense exercises under the watchful eye of Rafa Benitez. There have been reports that there is a chance James starts against Sevilla while its likely that Navas might not make it and subsequently be replaced by Casilla in the starting XI.
Part 2/2 Bale is still not ready and will probably not feature in this match either. James has returned to training but he did not play against PSG. Jese has been performing well lately while L.Vasquez has also shown he is a decent team player, not only fast going forward but also helping the team defend. Cheryshev has not featured much and is also the least likely to start here. Isco had a nasty blow to his head and had to change his shirt 4 times due to blood pouring out of the wound, though he is likely to feature against Sevilla. Of James,Jese,Vasquez,Cheryshev and Isco the most likly candidates to start this game are James,Jese and Isco. If James was not returning from injury there would be no doubt about him starting or not, but having missed almost 2 months of action, it would not be wise to start him if he has not completely recovered from his injury. Overall this is the last game before the international break and hopefully no other player gets injured until the Barcelona game
Part 1/2 Navas seemed to be doing fine in the match against PSG after being rested against Las Palmas, so one can assume he will start here aswell. Due to Carvajal and Arbeloa not being ready and Marcelo picking up an injury against PSG, Nacho is expected to start at left back and Danilo to continue at right back. Ramos had a very nasty fall towards the end of the game and he might have aggravated his shoulder injury but nothing is known yet. Varane has been featuring heavily lately and he also could use some rest. Pepe returned from injury but has not featured yet. Any two of Pepe,Ramos and Varane could start and it will be Benitez who will decide whom not to risk. In midfield Casemiro,Kroos and Modric if fit are likely to start though they too have to rest having played so many back to back games without proper rotation. Ronaldo will start up front while Benzema, apart from being arrested (will probably be released soon), is probably not fully fit yet to start this match.
@Turan Worth noting is that Kovacic has probably recovered from his injury and depending on the fitness levels of Modric, he could either replace him from the start or, if the score is favorable, come is as a sub.
Fatigue will be a factor but not of that extent. Real Madrid have played a match just after two and a half days of the previous match. This time Real Madrid played PSG on Tuesday and they are going to play Sevilla on Monday. That's almost a week. A week's rest might just be enough to recover for a team like Real Madrid.
@Turan Oopsie I am sorry. At my place its on Monday morning. But still it won't more about fatigue. And especially if Benítez decides to go with fresh legs like James, Pepe and Nacho. Then fatigue shouldn't be a factor.
@realmadridista Fatigue is a matter mainly for midfield players and the full backs. As you mention, there is no case of fatigue of Nacho but Danilo,Kroos,Modric and even Casemiro have played so many back to back games that they are bound to underperform when they can't get a 10-12 day rest to recover fully. Hopefully during the international break many players get left outside of their national team squads and rest/recover so that they are ready for the games after the break and specifically against Barcelona.
Bale won't be fit coming into this game. Benzema is fit but won't feature because he is arrested by the police for blackmailing Valbuena over a sex tape. The status of full backs is unknown. Marcelo, Carvajal and Arbeloa all are doubts for this match. If all three are injured then Real Madrid will be in a full back crisis for this match. If that is the situation then Danilo and Nacho will start as full backs. Varane should be rested for this match. It will be nice to see Ramos and Pepe forming the heart of defence. Casemiro, Kroos and Modrić will once again form the midfield. Isco, James and Ronaldo should play upfront. Jesé, Vázquez and Kovačić should be left on the bench for such an important match. Their fresh legs may be useful in the last 30 minutes of the match.
@kummerspeck 2 quality sides going head to head. In no other league in the world will you find quality matches like this so often. Europa league winners vs Champions league semi-finalists. Matches like this make la liga great, its no wonder la liga is the strongest league in the world by a mile.
There will be fatigue for both teams. Sevilla playing at home will have the aid of their supporters while Real Madrid having more world class players, are more likely to have an advantage over their opponents regarding how they handle fatigue and the tempo of the game.
Sevilla are a good, solid team. The fact that they play in the Champions League means that they too will be coming to this game after an exhausting home game against Man City, just like Real Madrid against PSG.
Бандеровец стал лучшим
Браво Коноплянка !!!

@undertaker benitez and players agents will make a mess of Real, just to earn money and escape, same was in Napoli
@koziol.mutant sht up
No navas No party
tfw alone at the top
Cristiano: "Current La Liga leaders? There are many. Sevilla, Atletico, Celta. And maybe Barça."
150 million is a bargain for Ronaldo
@ChaoticReaper 150 million for a poacher is a bargain? Yeah right.
@Macchonk lol image rights with earn you multi-millions alone even if he flops hard
Soooo... I'm guessing that whole Ronaldo-Blanc talking was a bless in disguise for Real Madrid?
why did he bench james!!! he is truely a beast!
Konoplyanka world class today. Really hope he`ll show the same level against Slovenia
@tar88s he will
@tar88s he'll!!!!
@dredon thanks mate. Am really lucky to get a ticket and `ll be witnessing that match in Ukraine. We must win that d*mn play-off at last:)
@tar88s good luck for us)
Konooooooooooooo!!!!!vamos!
So is Ronaldo the most important player at Real this season? Or is it Ramos? Someone though was missing (and missed too! - big time), weren't they? Draw your own conclusions.
@hindy Benzema is Real's star man. Without him, Ronaldo is nothing and the team loses all its chemistry.
@Beastador I might've been not precise enough and actually meant Navas, though you're right about Benzema too.
What a game!! FORZA SEVILLAAA!!!!
@nupp1 Konoplyanka is the king of this team right now.. hopefully he stays for many years to come
Holy crap,Kono is a beast
Real is not even trying anymore! They just surrender.
Calm down every1 . Its first loss of the season.
real madrid playing without a keeper. it's amazing they conceded just 3 goals.
@DiM without Ronaldo also
Rodriguez reminds me of Schürrle, no skill only running. Sevilla has some fine footballers.
@neumi17 But which Rodriguez are you talking about? ;)
what happened to Ramos? is it serious?
Seville is so much better in almost all aspects of the game, it's scary! Real can be happy if they don't get Bayern in the CL in that shape. This would get ugly, 6-0 or so...
i kniw our defending has been off but i mean come on casilla you are an incompetent fool atleast make an effort your making rob green look like neuer compared to you
Navas has been hiding Benitez horrible tactics
Ronaldo is pretty useless when he doesn't score. It's like playing with 10 men.
@jankees That's what everyone has been saying. Ronaldo without a goal is pretty mediocre.
3-1
We wil win this still or draw at the very least
dhdjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj
Ramos scores a goal but when the time comes to defend...he gets injured and subbed off.
immobile scores an equalizer, its all ogre now...
DAMN
Is Ramos injured or just precaution?
nacho the impaler
toni kroos has been so underwhelming thus season so far, time to step up.
Damn, Nacho..
Varane, James and Jesé on bench today for Real Madrid. Cheryshev not included in squad not even on bench. Nacho starts at left back. Ramos and Pepe partner to form the central defence. obligatory f*ck arbeloa post.
Casilla will succumb to the pressure. Ronaldo will only score from a 1 touch finish. Bale can't dribble.
@Beastador navas will start
Will win.
Its good to see every1 standing beside benz
Sanchez Pijuan has been rattled by City. I think we can build upon that.
Bale shall step up or he will be axed too.
@kummerspeck I dont know but he's mediocre. Neymar and Suarez on the other hand are on different level since they came to spain. I'm sure many would agre.
@Tyrion_Lannister Everyone is under the shade of Cristiano Ronaldo in Real Madrid. I think he could do a much better job when CR7 isn't playing.
@CirdomAkul i doubt that.
For some reason, sevilla dissapointed me in CL.
@kummerspeck Sevilla generaly have bad form not only in CL..
@kummerspeck All La liga fans wanted sevilla to be successful in the CL, but I think we shouldn't expect them to beat Man City.
@Beastador Even Valencia lost to Gent. Thats shameful
@Beastador What about juventus then? You think they can beat juve and monchen in last 2 games to qualify
Real madrid to win by 5 goals to nil. Hala madrid
Vamos mi sevilla! In the current form this will be hard but we can do it.. 2-1
2-2 . Sevilla last season out were unbeaten in home soil only failing to Madrid 0-3 in 10 mins. Later to score 2 goals in 2HT . @njamimaranga best tip for this is BTTS 2nd half time for me..
0 - 2 Real Madrid Win.
Most probably Ronaldo will be sold to psg next season. We may bring in reus or hazard
@John_Wick I think he is leaving too
Why won't James start.?
Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, and Bale, Together they make the most strongest front 3 (in Madrid) Madrid, Madrid, Madrid ¡HALA MADRID!
hala madrid
2-2
Navas, Benzema, Carvajal and Marcelo are not called up for this match.
krychowiak signed new contract
sevilla win here and penaldo will not score.
@Kedonojo well predicted:)

@Turan Navas hasn't been called up. James has been called up.
@CirdomAkul yes and mostly he will be injured again on horrid south American pitches
@John_Wick Oh dont say that.
@John_Wick He is vital for us, hopefully he returns fully fit.
Only Marcelo and Navas didn't participate in Thursday's training session. Benzema did some exercises with his teammates and some on his own. Sevilla 0-2 Madrid

Why's always Isco voted to be MOTM? The other didn't worth?

With defeat to City, Sevilla's morale will be a downer. Easy victory for RM
Sevilla are a good, solid team. The fact that they play in the Champions League means that they too will be coming to this game after an exhausting home game against Man City, just like Real Madrid against PSG.
Tough match. A win would be difficult, but it will probably be a draw. We need a good all round performance to overwhelm the opposition. Hala Madrid!
