Casemiro, Modric, Carvajal and Marcelo were outstanding for Real Madrid. RM could have played better in the first half as they were very shaky when they had the ball. For me, Barcelona are not as good as last season but that doesn't mean they can't win the treble again this season. Barcelona are extremely vulnerable when they don't have the ball and they have to come up with a solution as soon as possible if they are to win the CL.

This is a clear Barca win. 0-4 in the first leg and all basic players will be playing. Barcelona are that team that you cannot pressure them in any game! You can score against them in a counter! They concede goals from everywhere and their back line and keeper are always suspect but their midfield and attack once the ball is between those 6 players it is impossible to make a move and not get found out! I've watched the MSN this season quiet often. Their running is really not quiet noticeable but their positioning and finish is unbelievable. They have Raktic and Alves to run furtherst. Iniesta and Busquets to split any midfield with their passes and MSN to score from any position in 3rd quarter. I can see Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale all 3 can score past the Barca defence and keeper. Question is they need the ball and that pass to do so and playing agaisnt this Barca side the sight of the ball becomes an illusion. 3:1
Looking at the ratings above it looks too close to call. Barca just seem to gel so much better as a team though... selfless, work for each other... Zidane seems to be finding a better balance and team ethic, and maybe Madrid will want it more, but I think they still have a long way to go to match Barca. This is a clear Barca win. 0-4 in the first leg and all basic players will be playing. Real Madrid has been underperforming in away games while Barca drew only once in November and the rest home matches were wins. This is indeed more of a prestige game rather than point hunting for Barcelona and in Camp Nou they can and will own Real Madrid.
Barcelona are that team that you cannot pressure them in any game! You can score against them in a counter! They concede goals from everywhere and their back line and keeper are always suspect but their midfield and attack once the ball is between those 6 players it is impossible to make a move and not get found out! I've watched the MSN this season quiet often. Their running is really not quiet noticeable but their positioning and finish is unbelievable. They have Raktic and Alves to run furtherst. Iniesta and Busquets to split any midfield with their passes and MSN to score from any position in 3rd quarter. I can see Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale all 3 can score past the Barca defence and keeper. Question is they need the ball and that pass to do so and playing agaisnt this Barca side the sight of the ball becomes an illusion. 3:1

Looking at the ratings above it looks too close to call. Barca just seem to gel so much better as a team though... selfless, work for each other... Zidane seems to be finding a better balance and team ethic, and maybe Madrid will want it more, but I think they still have a long way to go to match Barca. Will be a great yardstick of progress under Zidane.
Barca is the current best team of the world and wouldn't be any surprise if they win here. But that 4-0 was a rare case, Real Madrid was a mess under Benitez and this time they have BBC fully fit upfront and Zidane seems to have found the balance in the midfield with Casemiro. It will be an amazing clash and Real Madrid players will give their hearts to win here and keep the chances to win the title alive but on the otherside you have MSN in form and playing at home. I expect a game with a lot of goals, i go for 3-2 Barcelona but my heart is with Real Madrid. Hala Madrid !

Madrid fans are always loud with their unreasonable predictions and excuses. The reality is that Barcelona is much better and more balanced in every aspect. That doesn't mean Madrid can't win, even Elche can beat Barca, this is professional football we are talking about. However, Real Madrid is lucky they play Barca in La Liga and not CL because their season would be over very early. Another thing, there's almost no chance Messi is missing out on scoring his 500th goal tomorrow.

But as we saw they are not impossible, THEY HAVE A WEAKNESS as they drew to Villarreal and take a trashing of 4-0 from Celta had one thing in common. The possession of Barca was lost. Villarreal and Celta had the ball running. If Madrid could do this. They can do it. Their players have class. But till them Barca are clear favorites and winners.....

Barca is clearly a more advanced side but international break and game with Atletico could mess this up for them.Also I don˘t see how Enrique sees Mesi playing 90 minutes vs Bolivia and then both Real and Atletico in three days span.So if we take all those facts in account and Bale playing better it will probably be a draw or 2-1 Madrid win.I would really like if Enrique rotated the squad completely cause this game is absolutely meaningless to Barca.And Real is third so we don˘t have to worry about these inferior teams that win a championship once in 10 years messing up our fitness before facing Atletico.:P

The expectations are high for both teams. Barcelona is the best team by far at the moment and even when not playing their best football they can trash any team. Real Madrid has gotten better and is playing more quality football as of late but are still 2 steps behind Barcelona and the only way they can win here is if they take their chances, run alot and play with their hearts.

If Real Madrid is to salvage anything from this season, a win in here would massively serve them well. Real Madrid are clearly playing better than their previous encounter.
