Inter have received a boost in their attempts to sign Patrik Schick after the Sampdoria forward turned down the chance to join Borussia Dortmund in favour of a move to San Siro, reports Tuttosport, via Football Italia.
Schick is widely expected to leave Sampdoria this summer but his future remains up in the air after his proposed move to Juventus collapsed in July.
The 21-year-old has since been given the all-clear after a heart problem led to his failed Juventus move but now the Czech Republic international only wants to join Inter.
Borussia Dortmund reportedly tried to hi-jack a potential €30m (£27.3m) move but Schick has snubbed the German giants in favour of focusing on a summer switch to Inter.
Of players that scored at least 10 goals in Serie A last season, only Gregoire Defrel (27.9%) had a better conversion rate than Schick (25.6%).
