Barcelona take a huge first leg advantage to Germany tonight having claimed a 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League meeting in Spain last week. The Blaugrana are still unbeaten in 2025, which doesn’t bode well for the Bundesliga side here. 

 

Dortmund held rivals Bayern Munich to a draw at the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening, but the stalemate means they have now failed to win their last two, and have won only two of their last five.

After last week’s contentious first half goal against Borussia Dortmund, Raphinha has now scored more goals (12) than any other player in the Champions League this season. The Brazilian wing wizard has netted in eight of his 11 European outings this term, and each of his last four away appearances in the competition. 

 

Raphinha – Over 0.5 assists 

 

Not only does Raphinha lead the top scorer leaderboard, he’s also registered more assists (7) than any other player in the Champions League this season. The 28-year-old has registered at least one assist in three of his last four appearances in Europe’s elite club competition, and has scored and assisted in his last two. 

 

 

Pedri – Over 2.5 tackles 

 

To some, Pedri is the best midfielder in the world, the Spaniard excellent both on and off the ball. His hard work out of possession means he is averaging 2.8 tackles per game in the Champions League this season as the 22-year-old continues to protect the backline well. And having managed at least three tackles in five of his last seven Champions League appearances, including three in the first leg, we’re backing Pedri to make over 2.5 tackles in Germany tonight.
