Oh. One more point I would like to make. People often said if you know football well, you would know the importance of Busquets, I think the same should be applied to Rakitic. He got the same importance to Barca to me. Very discipline, never make mistake and a very good balance between Offense and Defense.

Chelsea had chances. On a luckier night, they may have made this more of a contest. But Barca were clinical and seem so solid defensively, especially at home. Also, Messi is the best on earth. Suarez and Dembele moving so well, too! And Umtiti and Pique are brave and, possibly, psychic. Rakitic is clever and tireless these days. Iniesta is timeless. @BarcaPlsLetMeDown Yeah, over both legs, in terms of chances created and conceded, I think both teams were pretty even. The major difference was Barca's efficiency in coverting their chances, and that efficiency was mostly due to Messi, who scored his only chance in the first leg, and, in the second leg, scored 2 goals from 2 chances and created another goal for Demele. Messi deserves major credit for the 4 goals scored, but I think our defense also did VERY WELL, especially Umtiti and Pique, in dealing with Chelsea's attacks. If Umtiti and Pique weren't on top of their game, making vital interceptions, tackles, and reading the game very well, then Chelsea could have easily had another 1 or 2 goals in this tie.

4-1 aggregate don't really reflect the performances of both teams. I think Chelsea played really well in both games and they conceded 4 goals through big individual errors which are unacceptable at this level. They hit the post 4 times and Barcelona were extremely efficient in both games. Chelsea played way better than i expected at Camp Nou but football is like this !

I will never underestimate a team managed by Antonio Conte but in my opinion Chelsea doesn't have the harmony they had last season.They have replaced many key experienced players with good young players. Christensen is a really good player but we all saw what happened in the first leg through an individual error. Barcelona is not as good as the results say but they are very solid and they know how to get results this season. Hazard and Willian have to play closer to the midfield because hey know how to get out of pressure. I can't imagine this Chlesea side to go through anyway.

Both Roberto and Iniesta are fit enough to be called up. Sergi Roberto just has bruising and should be ok. I don't believe for a second that Iniesta is healthy enough to start. @specter I dont think CHE will score. They will park the bus and try to counter. That odds represent like 60% that they score but BAR has average of 0,47 goals conceded per game at home. Apart from that they most likely play same tactics as against man city. They had like 2 shots on target. Most probably withou Morata or Giroud in front maybe even Kante + Drinkwater in midfield i would say that it like 60% for CHE will not score. But this is only my opinion

After horrible performance against City, I don't think Chelsea stand a chance if they play Hazard as center forward. It worked well in the first leg and Chelsea should have won that one, but no they have to score and it will be very difficult without a proper striker. Chelsea could switch to 3-5-1-1 with Hazard and Morata partnering up front and waiting for Fabregas' opening passes. However, it would be bold to drop Willian who's in great form and has been their best player lately. And Conte will likely start Pedro who works hard defensively and has fresh legs for this match which means Chelsea are probably playing 3-4-2-1 (or rather 5-4-1). Barca's line up mostly picks itself but I'd play Dembele over Paulinho who slows them down bit too much despite offering decent goal threat.
@Castle- I agree with pretty much everything you said, I don't think Conte particularly likes/trusts Morata though so I think Giroud may get the nod in the #9 and I also fully expect Willian to start in a 3-4-2-1/(7-3-0....). They have to go for it. They should be defending a 1st leg lead but ish happens. Conte will have a chance to enhance his reputation, and CV, with a bold display here but for some reason I don't expect such from an Italian manager in an away leg....
Gonna be a highly tactical game again with the undoubted chance of individual brilliance being the decider!! Camp Nou has a wider pitch. Will cause problems to Chelsea's compact park the bus tactics! On the opposite end it will also open space in Barca defense for Chelsea to pull one on a quick counter! Can't wait!! And yeah Dembele should be given a shot!

Barca have a lot of really unfortunate injuries. Iniesta is a huge loss. But we get good results at home this season. And we did a good job away at Stamford Bridge to limit them to shots outside the area. One went in, but the away goal was such a nice reward for going away to a difficult ground and giving it a go. I'm nervous but hopeful for Barca. It could actually be a tense, nervy game with few chances, both teams too scared to make a mistake. Any bookies running odds on a Messi free kick? :)
