@neumi17 Yarmo could have been in Premier League many years ago, but FC Dynamo Kyiv didn't want him to leave. Remember, Martinez was keen on signing Yarmolenko in 2015, but Yarmo decided to stay with Dynamo.
@neumi17 he had 7.4 in the game against Everton, and he would have had a better score in MU game if they credited him for the goal he actually had scored... I didn't watch today's game, but he's been one of the best players in the latest games against Everton, Chelsea, and MU... and don't forget, it's only his first games in the PL...
@alohaworld How can he be one of the best players, if his rating, dribbling, passing, and general outcome is always low ? His average rating is just above 6.00 now, this is very bad ...
@neumi17 that is only 30% his own fault.
Main problem... he gets balls way too deep from enemy goal, always when both enemy fullback and winger are already in front of him.. and he can make no use of situations... THAT happens because of terrible midfield duo of WHU, especially terrible Noble... who turns slowly, passes slowly, even thinks slowly as for EPL deep playmaker. Yarmo should get balls faster and/or higher up the pitch. Sometimes Zabaleta makes overlaps too early forcing Yarmo to play safer on a ball(since no cover already) so he takes less risks and doesnt use potential situations. That are main problem...
Secondary problem... Yarmo is obviously low work rate, to slow starting speed and willingness to fight for noman balls, he is lazy very often.. BUT he always was like that thoughout his career.. so coach should adopt him and cover his innate weaknesess - fullback behind Yarmo should play more defensively and conservately... and overlap only on late stages of an attack.
@dzvinka I totally agree. @neumi17 WHU knew whom they signed. He is not Mbappe, you know! :)) The answer is: it depends. If the team can adapt and use his strengths and cover his weaknesses, the answer will be yes. It's all in the hands of the coach.
dirty fix, seems exchange of home wins, WHU will beat Brighton at home, will bet house on that:)
Will Yarmolenko ever make a good game and get above a 6.2, 6.3 rating ?

@neumi17 he is overrated for such good league. If he was good enough any team would have bought him already here.
