Team News

Bournemouth
Man City
  • Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the welcome of Manchester City, but remains without no fewer than seven players.
  • Howe could name the same XI that started the 2-1 win at Aston Villa at the weekend.
  • That would see Philip Billing continue in midfield despite being hauled off at half time.
  • Leroy Sane and Benjamin Mendy miss out for Manchester City, while John Stones has a muscle issue and is also sidelined.
  • Oleksandr Zinchenko complained of cramp in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham, but Pep Guardiola has confirmed he is fine.
  • Gabriel Jesus may start in place of Sergio Aguero, while Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan could keep their places.

Prediction

  • Bournemouth have made a solid start to the Premier League season with four points from two games to their name. However, their record against Manchester City is dire having lost their eight league meetings with the defending Premier League champions.
  • City were denied all three points against Tottenham on Saturday as Gabriel Jesus' late strike was chalked off due to VAR. Head coach Pep Guardiola will be demanding his players quickly move on from the disappointing draw and having won their last eight away league outings, you'd expect them to respond with victory here.
  • While City missed a number of chances to put the game to bed against Spurs, they're expected to make amends on Sunday.

  • Lethal Kun, one of the best forwards in the world, still controvertial in his national team. Incredible!. Also , a great goal by Wilson from free kick, stunning the curve the ball got til dropped inside the box.

  • David Silva is quite the magician.

  • @GioMonaldo An old magician ...

  • @neumi17 He's younger than CR.

  • @GioMonaldo- CR's biological age is younger than his chronological one though and that is what matters.

  • @SteveHyland Out of all the nonsense I've read today, yours is the most nonsensical LOL

  • @GioMonaldo- Then you are admitting to being ignorant. I suggest you take some time to read up about how and why we age, Gene's and genomic expression which determine aging rate, how what we do affects such rate and how differences manifest at a certain chronological age. If the question has never entered your mind "How does x seem younger than y even though they are the same age?" then I'm not surprised you find what I said "nonsense" but for those who have even a passing interest in biology, physiology, the human body etc (and have bothered reading up), what I said makes sense.

  • VAR says no penalty right as we're watching a close up slow mo replay of David Silva's foot getting stomped in the box. Highway robbery!

  • City to win 4-1.

  • @nexus747 I'll be shocked if the bald fraud can escape without a defeat at Bournemouth. This is obviously a 2-1 Bournemouth win.

  • @SeuneMilmas I'll be shocked if a retarded baboon doesn't make better predictions than you.

  • @GioMonaldo hahaha

  • Bernardo Silva's better position is at CM, So he should replace Gundogan and Mahrez play at RW...

  • Manchester City will win by at least 5 goals

  • CITY

  • Man city will win this game, but I don't think Bournemouth will roll over, H.Wilson has scored in both his most recent games and if he can create some space on the edge of the box he'll surely try again this weekend. 3-1 to City.

  • @Frenchy1991 wow someone give this guy a medal you are a great punter WhatsApp me bro 08166011097

  • Bournemouth to win 4-0 and lift the pl trophy in march.

  • @swagio You must be joking, everyone knows Arsenal will win the PL.

  • @GioMonaldo Hell isn't cold enough for that to happen

  • @swagio First Half 0-4 City, Second Half 5-4 Bour 2/1 ;)

  • @zardonic All 5 goals will be scored by wilson

  • @swagio nice one

  • Pip should return to his first game lineup

  • Kyle Walker, [Bournemouth 1 : 4 Man City]

  • Personally -I think City are going to give someone a real thumping in the next few weeks! They should have scored at least 4 or 5 against Spurs but finishing wasn't there strongest on the day. I think with at least 3 controversial occasions in the first 2 league games where referee/VAR decisions have gone against them, Pep will demand more from the team and surely tell them to prove a point in the next few games. I'm going for City to score at least 5 against Bournemouth, and if it's not them to get it, then it'll be Brighton the week after.
