  • It seems like I say it after every game but practically every element of play that Emery wants is missing from this team. Somebody higher than him in the food chain needs to work out whether he is the problem or if the players simply aren't following instructions. If it's the former then Unai has to go, if it's the latter then the players need to be called out because Gooners have seen this weak-arsed ineptitude for a good 12 years now. Under Wenger, he was clearly the problem but it's difficult to tell with Emery.

  • @SteveHyland With Wenger it was a weak mentality and a weak spine and too little tactical influence - we'd never change formation and we was predictable to play against. With Emery, he did build a fighting spirit into the team in the first 7 or 8 months. But I feel the tactics/playstyle still existed from Wenger, now that Emery has tried to impliment his way - it has confused, baffled and destroyed the motivation of the players. He changes things almost every game and his stubborn ways are ruining the club's chances next season of anything too. No champions league, losing Torreira, Auba and Laca due to unhappiness. More holes to fill. He needs to be sacked as soon as possible to try and save the season.

  • Undeserved. It's a surprise, but Southampton were a better team and should have won this.

  • @wilde I think I can speak on behalf of every Arsenal fan. Arsenal don't even deserve to be 8th in the PL.

  • Wenger IN ?

  • @stefanm Or Pochettino in? The real question is: When will they get rid of this spoof of a manager?

  • @BeautifulLoser I think Pochettino is more likely to go to PSG, if Tuchel fails (again) in february. Then Tuchel could come to Arsenal ! or Patrick Viera if he fails or get fed up at OGC Nice.

  • @NigelBeat Tuchel will probably make the semis this year. And BVB too are looking for a Favre replacement and are considering Pochettino as an option. And I don't think Bayern will let Flick manage the team in the next season.

  • @NigelBeat- I'm a better option than Tuchel. I also don't want an ex-player who have no long-term managerial experience. Erik ten Hag is the best option but he has confirmed he's staying at Ajax for this season so Ljungberg as an interim until then. Interim being the key word.

  • 2-1 or 1-1. Saints+1,5 easy

  • Draw here.

  • @albgunn I would be shocked if Arsenal didn't win 2-0

  • @SeuneMilmas I would be shocked if you predicted something corectly

  • It is impossible for Arsenal to keep a clean sheet. They defend like they don't have a manager. I would go Leno- Bellerin, Chambers, Luiz, Tierny- Torreita, Guendouzi- Pepe, Ozil, Aubameyang- Lacazette. But obviously Emery will have his lovely Kolasinac who hasn't learn how to cross as well as Chambers as a right back although he is Arsenal's best central defender in my opinion. Arsenal 2-1 Narrow win with this so called coach.

  • I feel good about this one. 4-1 to Arsenal. Saying that, I thought they'd turn a result against Leicester so I'd never take my opinion into account right now xD

  • no way for arsenal cleansheet

  • 2-1

  • I would like to see 10 of the team who started against Leicester- Tierney for Kolašinac the one change (injuries permitting). It may seem overly defensive against a team who have only scored 11 times but I'd use it as an offensive system. Position the WBs high, have David Luiz drift into DM when in possession and allow Özil free reign. We should also be able to utilise a high press, something which has been lacking since about halfway through last season. It's not as though any other system we've tried has worked in providing either control in possession or defensive solidity. The team will benefit from personnel and formation continuity so it's either this setup or the 4-3-3 with Torreira as a #4 imo.

  • 2-0

  • 0-1 and Emery to get sacked xD
