  • Bring back Emery! :D Just look at that scheadule for Arsenal, I cant see them winning any of next 6-7 games honestly. Soon they will be in relegation zone. :D

  • Relegation form, bad positioning, no communication. we need someone to take over and go back to basics, we can't get top four like this, and being in the europa, isn't good enough, as much as in hurts me to say this, but we need a year away from European football to regroup, even if that means selling are top players like laca, that can bring us a good income, and we can try and invest in the playing squad and a better head coach.

  • Pepe is so good, actually quite a few others are good too. But as a team it's a disaster... Ozil should go to China where he won't need to fight at all, only passing which he likes and is really good at, central defence should be more Top Class. All the others are more or less ok

  • This isn't even funny anymore. Okay, it is.

  • We need to bring back Keown to fix our defending.

  • So, Unai wasn't the problem...

  • @Kentzz001 maybe he was. A manager is unable to change everything in a week.

  • @Kentzz001 he wasn't the solution either

  • WENGER IN

  • @SirCharlesRichfield yeah, especially since Kroenke started spending. I think the US guy massed it as tried to make more profit less success and thought it can be forever. Now in panic they bought Pepe and few more. So yes Wenger in but in the long run Kroenke out

  • Well, I thought Kolasinac and Xhaka in particular were good. Takes real character to come back from that abuse and be the best Arsenal player on the pitch. The team is still a work in progress, no need to get agitated. Who was Ozil shouting at at the end?

  • @What4- Lacazette.

  • @SteveHyland Do you know why?

  • @What4- Sorry for the triple reply, we need an edit function on here. Plus I accidentally reported your post like a cock. Anyways, my theory about the row is that Mesut was moaning about Ljungberg subbing Lacazette. That would tie in with the arm gesturing.

  • @What4- It looks as though Oezil was actually moaning about Ljungberg not Lacazette, unless it was both. I didn't see anything in the highlights to suggest why but am guessing that Freddie had a go, Mesut took exception and moaned to Mertesacker. Anyways, I don't mind players getting pissed off. In the George Graham days, it was common but it gave birth to the tightest unit in English football. Ditto for Utd under Fergie in the EPL then Wenger's first two Arsenal incarnations.

  • @SteveHyland The mentality of players, and society generally, has changed a lot since those days. You generally can't give people a rollicking anymore, it's more about an arm around the shoulders today. Even former cricketers have talked about this change that's taken place in the last generation or so, so it's not just football.

  • @What4- And that's the problem because some people NEED a kick up the arse. Simeone, Klopp, Allegri etc are known for unleashing when needed and they've often produced mentally strong teams. It doesn't work for every player but then, evidently, neither does an arm around the shoulder. The whole point of man management is deciding who needs what treatment.

  • @What4- Not a clue, I could only see him gesturing in Laca's direction. I don't remember Alex miss any sitters which Mesut provided but will watch the highlights when they become available.

  • Lacazette was the best player but still subbed.Ozil played full game. It's inexplicable

  • Brighton more shots, SOT, possession. Wenger's legacy in tatters. HAHAHA

  • Ozil can't keep saving Arsenal forever.

  • @GioMonaldo He stopped saving Arsenal about 3,4 years ago.

  • Seems like Emery is not the problem but rather Arsenal sell those important players without getting adequate replacement

  • Özils first assist in almost 1 year

  • @neumi17 sounds as fake as Penaldo's Serie A awards, are you sure about that?

  • @GioMonaldo Before tonight his last assist was vs Bournemouth at the beginning of this year.

  • @GioMonaldo This was Özils first assist this season, last season he had 2. 3 assist since 2018 ...

  • @neumi17 Aight. I don't follow Arsenal, I thought he was the assist king in EPL.

  • Mhm ...

  • arsenal defence wow they truly deserves even two wow's

  • brighton win

  • If arsenal wins this game they'll get there confidence back and hopefully start playing better.

  • Arsenal comeback

  • Arsenal lose or draw

  • 2 - 1 for arsenal

  • Arsenal to score 2 in the first half

  • @alxdru I would be shocked if Brighton didn't win 2-0

  • time to shine, 3:0

  • Arsenal must win today 💪💪💪🚶🚶

  • 2-0

  • Both teams to score. Arsenal are prone to letting it leak-in these days.

  • @Joe1 Yeah. Luiz lost his mojo a while back.

  • 1-1

  • Is a loss as usual,,with a player like pepe,he is just a dribbler not a goal machine like Rashford or Abraham

  • Wingers Solly March and Izquierdo are both out w/o any other speedy wingers to pin back Bellerin

  • 1-1 Trossard to save the day for Brighton

  • Losing streak wil endl for Arsenal here

  • It's time for a win now, lads. Just, I don't know, try to actually stop the other team from shooting at our goal. Also, maybe pass the ball to the guys who score the goals for us? Just try it and see if that works. Please?

  • @What4- I would like to see a run of games with Chambers & Holding at CB and Torreira playing the DM role that he's looked great in, for the most part, for Uruguay. This won't happen while Bellerín is injured because we don't have a viable backup RB and actually haven't for years. Calum doesn't have the raw pace to be a modern RB.

  • @SteveHyland Whatever happens, I hope people give Ljungberg a chance to implement his ideas. He's taking over a team in a mess in the middle of the season, with little time to work with the squad between games. We need to give him a lot of leeway, because it's a difficult job, no doubt. Maybe we can't understand what he's trying to implement, but at least we can give him the time he needs to see if he can make it work.

  • @SteveHyland interesting game indeed, might watch this

  • 0-1 shocker even without Emery
