Team News

Tottenham
Crystal Palace
  • Giovani Lo Celso remains Tottenham's only injury worry, though he will return to action later this month.
  • Jose Mourinho made a couple of changes to the side that beat Burnley 4-0 for Thursday's 1-0 win at Fulham.
  • Sergio Reguilon, Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura, all of whom dropped out, may return to the side, though Dele Alli is hoping to keep his spot in attack.
  • Roy Hodgson is hoping to have Nathaniel Clyne and Tyrick Micthell back for the trip to Tottenham, but better news is that Wilfried Zaha is fit to start.
  • The Crystal Palace boss remains without no fewer than six players for the trip across the capital, including James McCarthy, who was forced off on the hour mark against Manchester United.
  • Jairo Riedewald is set to replace McCarthy in the middle of the park in what may be Hodgson's only change to his XI.

Prediction

  • Just as doom and gloom seemed to engulf the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, three wins in eight days has lifted morale in north London. Jose Mourinho has recovered some key players and looks set on his strongest XI coming into the final weeks of the season.
  • Crystal Palace have failed to score in four of their last five matches, but are at least unbeaten in three. The Eagles travel poorly to Tottenham and have lost their last five meetings with Spurs in north London.
  • Wilf Zaha's return is a huge boost for Crystal Palace and his availability could see the Eagles end their woes in front of goal, but Spurs have the means to make it four successive wins.

  • Harry and Gareth destroy the Palace just a few hours before Harry and Meghan do the same.

  • Why the hell did Vinicius get a booking? I could not see it in the broadcast at all.

  • You've got to question why Mourinho stuck Bale on the bench for the first 5 months of the season. Spurs would be comfortably top 4 right now if he hadn't done that!

  • @LastWordOnSpurs: "Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane and attacker Heung-Min Son have set a new record for the most goal combinations in a Premier League campaign (14)."

  • If the score stays 4-1 then Tottenham have the third best goal difference in the league... WTF!

  • Kane can smell that golden boot award.

  • Easy money :)

  • @nexus747 congratulations!

  • Excellent strike from Kane for number three!

  • Bale scores twice and Kane has 2 assists.

  • So Palace score with their first shot on goal... but just 4 shots in the first half for the home side isn't really good enough.

  • Bale again....pffff...

  • Gareth Bale scores his fifth goal in six games.

  • Bale is playing much better now he is back to full fitness.

  • @nexus747 Golfing is evidently the best of rehabs. Who would have thought?

  • Spuds won’t win

  • I think Spurs will win comfortably they looked to have turned a corner

  • Tottenham to score from a long shot... maybe a Bale free kick. Kane to get the other. Tottenham 2-1 Crystal Palace.

  • 3-0

  • Spurs to win and over 2.5 goals @ 2.50 odds

  • @nexus747 Easy money :)

  • @nexus747 I would be shocked if Palace do not draw 1-1.

  • 3-1 (1:1) Tottenham to win.

  • Spurs to score first and winning at ht.

  • 1-0
