6,,44-6,92 rating is a joke. That would mean that Palace decisively outplayed Brighton and won well deservedly. But they were absolutely dominated. Just because they scored more goals doesn't mean they played better. They just found more luck with their 3 shots than their opponents did with their 25.
@andrew7taylor I regret to say that I cannot agree with you my friend. Brighton has 25 shots but only 5 shots on target. You are right in terms of possession. Brighton dominated but you forget that Palace won 22 tackles. Brighton barely reached half that number. So Palace avoided Brighton's possessions. I think the ratings are fair. I also disagree with your comment about the goals. I think Palace's goals are not scored by chance, but scored with great skill and mastery.
@arisvi when you score 2 goals from 3 shots and the 2nd goal comes on the 90+4th minute, when your rival has 8x more shots than your team, and you still win - that is not a sign of a well deserved victory. It is quite fair to call this result lucky.

It says that they barely had the ball to have the opportunity to make that many tackles. Brighton barely reached half that number because it's hard to make tackles when you have the ball. Which would you say is a winning stategy, having the ball or having to make tackles? "Palace avoided Brighton's possession." That's why Brighton had the ball thrice as much and shot 8x more?
