He shoots when he’s supposed to be passing, he goes against 2 players when he’s supposed to be passing and when there’s actually a good opportunity to shoot and score - he freezes and cannot decide. He’s got the determination, and the speed and ability 1on1 but he just doesn’t have the brain I’m afraid.
@Pastore10 Modric is more progressive whereas Kroos has more of Xavi role. Its just the fact that Kroos has won a World Cup where his contribution was immense and won CL with two different clubs and 4 yrs younger and can accomplish so much more by the time he retires. I can see why people will prefer Modric though
@falcon_ranger Modric hard carried freaking Croatia to the world cup final. That's much more impressive than winning it with Germany that was full of world class players. If Croatia had someone like Neuer they'd probably have won that final too.
