Team News

Sampdoria
Juventus
  • Sampdoria are expected to field their regular starting XI with Adrien Silva partnering Albin Ekdal in midfield.
  • Dejan Kulusevski is suspended and is the only banned player for Juventus this weekend, joining Paulo Dybala on the sidelines.
  • Matthijs de Ligt and Federico Chiesa will return to the starting lineup following recent absences due to COVID-19 and injuries.

Prediction

  • Sampdoria earned their second consecutive league win thanks to a good performance against Parma last weekend.
  • Juventus had a bit of a nervy moment in the second half against Bologna, but apart from that they were in total control of the game and should have scored more.
  • The Bianconeri have managed clean sheets in each of their last three games in all competitions and will try to maintain this defensive solidity against an in-form team.

  • CR7 represents almost 50% of Juve goals in this season. It's a shame to assist the awful football of this team. If it wasn't Ronaldo they would lose many more games in the champions and were in a mid possition in Serie A.

  • @Coutadas it's like saying that Bayern would be a mid table team in the bundesliga with other striker than Lewandowski. That's just illogical

  • @Coutadas Don't lie, Ronaldo is a flop and he is useless without goals or assists as always. Truth hurts, don't cry.... :-D

  • Chiellini MOM. By far....

  • @B4C He played great. I would like to see Chiellini - De Ligt duo rather than Chiellini - Bonucci.

  • Wow, Ronaldo with two great passes to make the goals and yet he has the lowest rating among the starters. Whoscored ratings are a joke.

  • @srcr7 If it was Pessi he would have 8.7 rating. So many games that midget is the worst player in the field and they give him the best rating. Fanboys will be allways fanboys.

  • @Coutadas fanboys are people like you, who mention Messi in Juventus comment box or Ronaldo in Barcelona comment box and who insult other players with names like "midget" or "pessi". Now that's a real fanboyism.

  • @srcr7 Whoscored rating is indeed a joke

  • @srcr7 Do you reckon you could have your nose up his arse any further?

  • @srcr7 So 2 good passes in a game should reflect in a high rating ? ;-)). By the way, the assists to the goals came from Morata and Cuadrado.

  • @neumi17 And both have a higher rating therefore.

  • @neumi17 You clearly didn't watch the match :) At least watch the highlight before commenting.

  • Pathetic performance , ronaldo did the worst decision ever to sign for Juve

  • @Nashonba 15 goals and 3 assists in 14 games, what are you talking about? even in this match he has 2 pre-assists.

  • @Youzarix he criticized the team, not Ronaldo lol

  • @Youzarix Juve are not even trying to attack. So many back or side-way passes. Idk how Ronaldo will ever manage to win the golden boot with a team who don;t even want to attack. Just 9 shots in total.

  • @srcr7 Probably you didn't watch the game. In 1st half Cristiano was put twice in front of the GK and he missed both.

  • Awful juventus as usual

  • Juve & Under (4,5)
