Team News

Man Utd
Chelsea
  • Ralf Rangnick has confirmed Harry Maguire, Fred and Jadon Sancho are all unavailable to face Chelsea on Thursday. The former pair are injured and Sancho has tonsillitis.
  • Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also a doubt for Thursday so Alex Telles may get a reprieve at left-back despite performing poorly against Arsenal.
  • Bruno Fernandes should be dropped on form with no goals or assists across his last seven Premier League appearances but will no doubt start here given the absences.
  • There will no doubt be youngsters part of the matchday squad on Thursday and some will even get on here. Rangnick says he has 14 senior players available.
  • Antonio Rudiger and Reece James returned to training on Tuesday and should be fine to start here.
  • Romelu Lukaku will be keen to face his old club in a bid to spark his own career at Chelsea but Timo Werner and Kai Havertz are currently first-choice in attack.
  • Christian Pulisic may even have more chance to start over Lukaku after he scored the winner against West Ham at the weekend.
  • Mateo Kovacic, Ross Barkley, Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi are all sidelined for the Blues.

Prediction

  • Manchester United's only win in their last five came against Premier League footers Norwich, and even then it took a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired showing to secure a 3-2 win.
  • United desperately need the end of the season but you feel it is just going to get worse for them before it gets better, particularly with so many players unavailable.
  • Chelsea bounced back from their 4-2 home defeat to Arsenal last week with a late 1-0 win over West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
  • Chelsea haven't looked at their best, though their home form has been the real cause for concern, but facing a terrible United side should be just the tonic they need to get back on track.

  • It's unbelievable how much haters Ronaldo has, always great and fun watching them barks when he scores

  • Now is the time for MANU to score, Charity FC love to concede late goals and lose.

  • 23 goals in EPL and UCL and highest season rating of his team with dreadful support in the hardest league at 37. Ronaldo should have stayed at RM. He deserves better than what he got since then.

  • @alx30 It's his fault he wanted more money, Real Madrid is still and will always be great with and without him 2semis in a row now, while look at him, man could have won more Ballon d'ors and UCLs maybe if he stayed.

  • 17 league goals and counting for this United team at the age of 37 is a hell of an achievement.

  • Both teams kinda suck

  • @neumi17 Chelsea "kinda" suck but MU definitely suck

  • If Mount wasn't English he'd be much less rated. Certainly wouldn't get in Southgate's side either

  • @PLahm You’re right mate, he wouldn’t make it into Southgate’s side, because he wouldn’t be English…. Hahahaha

  • @AaronCooper2000 Exactly. Nobody would think he's even NEAR Southgate's side if he wasn't English. Media drives his hype machine too much

  • @PLahm What about Havertz then ? He has been hyped like crazy and what exactly for ?

  • @neumi17 I don't think he will make Southgate's side in 2022 World Cup. Mark my words.

  • @AaronCooper2000 ROFL

  • Manu 2-1 Chelsea

  • Under 3.5 goals and maybe X2.

  • no Maguire no party, so MU will lose only 0-2

  • Guest Ronaldo Rating Tonight? Out of 10? Reply Me

  • I feel sorry for Jadon Sancho: his agent convinced him to make a move from a creative team like Dortmund to this nonsense called Manchester United which cannot integrate him into the team. What a terrible decision! Almost as terrible as Eden Hazard's move to Real Madrid. I would definitely fire my agent if I were Sancho!

  • I think Ronaldo will watch the match from Hospital. Because Its Chelsea.

  • I will be in Old Trafford to watch this borefest, 1-1.

  • @Byakuya Nobody cares where you will be.

  • @splint3r Seems like you did, congrats for playing yourself. Anyway borefest, check. 1-1, check. Chelsea fan crying because the last time they won at Old Trafford in a PL game United still had Ferguson, check.

  • @Byakuya I don't give a flying f*ck about this draw. We have already secured top 4 and we are playing with almost no motivation in the Premier League. Also, the last time we beat you, you guys still had your best coach. Which means we beat you when you were still relevant. Nowadays, nobody respects or is afraid of Manchester United.

  • @splint3r Another comment telling me about how you don't care but writing a useless paragraph, dry your tears already.

  • @Byakuya So it's forbidden to type up a comment, which consists of more than one sentence?

  • @splint3r If you're saying that you don't care, you shouldn't even make a comment about an on-point prediction let even more than one sentence. Your actions doesn't match with your words, why your team can't win against a team no one is afraid of for 9 years?

  • @Byakuya Because our team doesn't care about games in the PL anymore. We will play in the CL next season for sure, in the worst case scenario we will be 4th at the end. It was evident by how we gave away the 3 points to lowly Everton.

  • @Byakuya Very well said my friend. I wouldn't waste my time on a Premiership game even if the teams would pay me! LOL

  • فقط منچسترسیتی

  • بردچلسی 3.1

  • Nowadays Fernandes prefers to kick players rather than pass the ball.

  • Over 2.5 goals.

  • Both sides poor at the moment.

  • Head says Chelsea win, heart wants a draw.

  • Both teams to score @1.66
