Team News

Man Utd
Leeds
  • Donny van de Beek is ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, while Christian Eriksen may not return to action until April or even May with an ankle injury.
  • Scott McTominay remains out with a muscular injury.
  • Anthony Martial had a setback in his recovery from injury and so remains sidelined.
  • Antony is also out with injury.
  • Casemiro is suspended after his straight red card against Crystal Palace. Marcel Sabitzer may be in line for his first start as a result.
  • Rodrigo will be out until April after having surgery on an ankle injury.
  • Archie Gray, Adam Foreshaw and Stuart Dallas remain sidelined owing to injuries.
  • Sonny Perkins will likely be out of this match too, owing to the ankle injury he sustained against Accrington Stanley.
  • Robin Koch can return, after serving his suspension against Nottingham Forest.

Prediction

  • Since their 3-2 loss to Arsenal, Manchester United have won their four games in all competitions since, which included qualifying for the League Cup Final and moving to within eight points of the top of the table, coming into this fixture. They beat Crystal Palace in their last match 2-1, but the one negative was Casemiro was sent off, meaning they will be without him for three games, including this one.
  • Leeds continued their poor run of form in the league, stretching their winless streak to seven games, the longest active winless streak in the Premier League at present. They come into this game on the back of a 1-0 loss to relegation rivals, Nottingham Forest.
  • Given the form of two teams and the fact Erik ten Hag's side have only lost once at home, this should be another win for the Red Devils.

  • United was the better team, but United can't feel but be disappointed with the result. United should've won, but United played admirably. A draw is bad for both teams. United 2 United 2

  • Referee was worse than him from escape to victory. Never gave Leeds anything.

  • A proper team would score 5 against United in the first half, zero chemistry amongst defenders and sloppy on the ball going forward. They were still the better team statistically even when 0-2, just too many mistakes. I wish Weghorst was off earlier, literally played with a man down. Can't wait for Martial to come back from injury, Ten Hag said we will see a totally different frontline with him.

  • MU what a joke so far FFS.

  • Is Garnacho only a part-time footballer? He gives an Olympic level diving performance. He is looking for the ground as much as the ball.

  • @andrew7taylor Garnacho?? Isn't that a cold soup?

  • @DeuceBetter - That's gazpacho, Spanish tomato soup. Great stuff in the heat of the summer!

  • @andrew7taylor You would be hiding in your cave if he could've took that chance in 27th min, performing much better than your whole team at the moment. Your team's top goalscorer since WC is Wout Faes, says enough.

  • @Byakuya - Who is my team, in your opinion? I don't think Wout Faes has ever played in the same country as my team, but go on.

  • What a dive from Summervile, not even close and still no card.

  • Man U 3-0

  • @Oversonly good guess

  • It's now clear that Manchester United don't have bench. We pray the injuries doesn't get worse.

  • @Ezechi We pray the injuries get worse* Fixed that for you

  • Over 2.5 goals, ManUnited wins, and Rashford scores anytime in the match.

  • Leeds 'American' project is going to be their downfall, why sign McKennie when you have Roca and Adams,. The back line is where they need to improve. Here for their relegation..

  • @FootyFiyah - It is true that the backline is the biggest weakness, but I don't see how loaning McKennie would be wrong. Roca and Adams is not enough for a PL season. What happens if one of them is injured or suspended? You need at least 3 players for 2 places.

  • Hard to argue with what you said I don't rate McKennie very high I think they over value the American players, with the idea that it will make them more popular in the states, us yanks just want to see top quality we don't favor American players over other nationalities, most Americans haven't evolved to the level necessary to respect this great sport anyways. My main point being they will favor American players regardless of quality to build a larger base in the states and its not going to work.

  • @FootyFiyah They already deserved to be relegated after being Centurions for yellow cards last season which was the first in PL history, dirty scums.

  • @Byakuya Centurions??...Not sure English is your first language. You haven't a clue of that of which you speak probably the least dirty team in the league and definitely the unluckiest

  • @DeuceBetter You're such a clown for saying "the least dirty team in the league", PL record 101 yellow cards last season. Dumb users like you not even worth answering, just pathetic.

  • @Byakuya yet you've answered? You literally look at the statistics without observing or clearing understanding football...I would say the Saudi League is the one for you to follow

  • Antony is injured

  • United will definitely win.

  • @Caseyyy1 Told you.

  • This game won't be shown on TV officially, welcome to the UK.

  • 2-2

  • Man United 3-1 Leeds Untied :)

  • 4-0 Man Utd

  • MU 3-0

  • 2-0 Rashford
