Team News

Fulham
Newcastle
  • Antonee Robinson could return after an ankle injury having missed International Duty with the USA.
  • Manor Solomon and Harry Wilson remain out.
  • João Palhinha misses out through suspension, after picking up five yellow cards.
  • Aleksandar Mitrovic should be fine despite taking a knock to his ankle on international duty.
  • Allan Saint-Maximin remains a doubt coming into the game, as does Bruno Guimarães, who was unable to feature for Brazil during the International break.
  • Newcastle's attack will be left without both Chris Wood and Alexander Isak owing to injuries, but Callum Wilson may return having returned to training.

Prediction

  • Fulham have so far shown a decent account of themselves on their return to the Premier League, climbing up to 6th before the International break, after coming from behind to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 in their last match.
  • Newcastle have had a mixed start, to a season which they came into with high expectations, only winning once, while drawing five and losing the other. Despite this, they do still find themselves in exactly mid table.
  • For Fulham Aleksander Mitrovic will be relied upon to cause Newcastle the biggest threat, as the leagues 3rd highest goalscorer, but the Magpies haven't conceded many goals, but neither have they been scoring many either, so it will most likely be a close game. Mitrovic however will be looking to end a run of three games without scoring against his former club.
