All those idiots who like to refer to any League that isn't the Premier League as "farmer's Leagues" Look at this match. Liverpool had to put a shift in to get a lucky win against this Eredivise side that has been ransacked by the so called top teams for it's best players. I didn't see much of a gulf in class between these and Liverpool,
@Chancho I agree with you. The WBO (wheat, barley and oats) farmers league sides won three fixtures and lost three. They managed to lose against Zagreb, Napoli and Sporting. Not exactly a standard of excellence.

This is unbelievable. Ajax went to sleep because they thought a draw was good. But it's never over until the final whistle is blown. Even a worse performing EPL team has the capacity to destroy the best team of most of these leagues in the champions league.

Not quite a masterclass but this game was much, much better from Liverpool and not far from the side we’re used to seeing
