Team News

Arsenal
Fulham
  • Jurrien Timber is a doubt owing to illness, but he should recover in time to start at right-back on Tuesday night, with Ben White also an option for Mikel Arteta.
  • Bukayo Saka is available for Tuesday's welcome of Fulham, though is unlikely to start in midweek.
  • Riccardo Calafiori suffered a knee injury while on international duty with Italy and joins Kai Havertz, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines.
  • Gabriel Martinelli may be given the nod on the left flank in place of Leandro Trossard.
  • Fulham suffered no fresh injury issues during their FA Cup loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday but Marco Silva is expected to make a couple of changes here.
  • Raul Jimenez and Emile Smith Rowe may replace Rodrigo Muniz and Andreas Pereira in attack, while Adama Traore is also an option for the Whites boss.
  • Reiss Nelson, Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson all continue to miss out for the west London side.

Prediction

  • Arsenal will hope the additional rest following the international break works in their favour as they gear up for league duties. The Gunners do come into this London derby on a run of two wins from their last six in all competitions, though did go into the domestic hiatus following a 1-0 win over Chelsea.
  • Fulham were unceremoniously dumped out of the FA Cup by London rivals Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon on home turf. Away from Craven Cottage, Fulham have been solid however having won six of their last eight on their travels, which includes a 2-1 win at Chelsea on Boxing Day.
  • Arsenal are unbeaten in 17 home meetings with Fulham, though have drawn two of the last three against the Whites at the Emirates. Even so, the Gunners should edge their London rivals on Tuesday.
