Team News

Brighton
Liverpool
  • Ferdi Kadioglu, James Milner, Georginio Rutter and Solly March all miss Monday's welcome of Liverpool.
  • Joao Pedro returns from a ban, while Lewis Dunk and Joel Veltman have both been passed fit.
  • Even so, Fabian Hurzeler may make just one change this week, with Simon Adingra potentially replacing Tariq Lamptey.
  • Liverpool are once again without Joe Gomez, though the defender is the Reds' only absentee.
  • Arne Slot may make a couple of changes here, with Diogo Jota and Alexis Mac Allister starting on the south coast.

Prediction

  • Brighton have now won two of their last three following their 2-0 win at Wolves last weekend. The Seagulls have lost only one of their last seven at the AMEX, though in turn they have won only one of their last four at home.
  • Liverpool are going through the motions in the final weeks of the season. Following their title triumph, the Reds have lost to Chelsea and threw away a two-goal lead to draw with Arsenal last weekend.
  • Liverpool have won only one of their last four trips to Brighton, a run that may continue with the spoils shared on Monday night.

  • how have you still not changed to offside from Adingra to Welbeck???

  • Gruda is the man.

  • @neumi17 Yes indeed, considering they won everything and they aren't 8th in the league.. It's not like there are plenty of men who are better than him, even in the lower half of the table, right??

  • @Kingjigga Nobody is better than him ...

  • Adingra wasnt offside it was Welbeck who was offside from Adingra's cross

  • They won and stopped

  • Tsimikas was absolutely rinsed this game. Salah still out of form, but considering it’s his stellar numbers that essentially dragged us to the title, he gets a lot of leeway

  • @sarigginsUSA Agreed.. It will backfire on us next season.. Playing Salah 90 minutes even when he's the worst player on the pitch will really motivate everyone to play as good as him.. Watching this game broke me.. And now Slot is converting the wrong wingers into strikers

  • So, the excuse was formulated even before the game started this time - "the players visited the Brighton beaches". Pathetic club.

  • @Sputnik Why are you always crying white knight?? You must be a miserable United fanboy

  • @Sputnik they’re the champions with nothing to play for. I don’t think they care

  • @WilliePete How many times are you going to say the same thing? And no, there is no such thing as a "meaningless game". Every game counts.

  • @Sputnik lol my guy they don’t have anything to play for. They’ve won the league. Get that chip off your shoulder

  • @WilliePete If they're really playing for nothing, why did Van Dijk score and attempt to overturn the result against Chelsea. Why did they score 2 goals and lead the game for a good period last night as well? If they really didn't care, they would have lost both games 3:0. You see how your logic is flawed? Pointless games do not exist, even friendlies matter for the players' form and motivation. And the above two (along with the one against Arsenal) were not friendlies, they were competitive.

  • @Sputnik We already won the league, we have no more games that mean anything this season. What do you expect?

  • @sarigginsUSA he expects they will take risks their health so that sputnik can put in a good word for them)

  • Brighton win by two goals

  • Away win by 2-4 score

  • There have been over 1.5 goals in 13 consecutive Brighton league games.Liverpool have scored in 32 consecutive league games.
