- Following their humbling 4–1 loss to PSV last time out, head coach Danny Buijs could make a number of changes to his starting lineup, with defensive midfielder Loreintz Rosier and centre-forward Bojan Radulović pushing for a start.
- Three players who have been key for Fortuna this season are Kristoffer Peterson, Ezequiel Bullaude, and Alessio da Cruz. Peterson is the side's top scorer with seven goals, followed by Bullaude with six and da Cruz with four.
- NAC Breda will be missing two players this week: Dion Versluis and Boyd Lucassen, both sidelined due to injuries.
- After their recent 3-1 defeat against PEC Zwolle, head coach Carl Hoefkens may make several changes to the starting lineup. Additionally, forward Adam Kaied and attacking midfielders Raul Paula and Dominik Janosek are also vying for starting spots.
- NAC Breda's top attacking threats are Leo Sauer and Elías Már Ómarsson, who have each scored seven goals this season.
