Bayern

Borussia Dortmund
- Manuel Neuer suffered a muscle tear and will not be rushed back into action. New signing Jonas Urbig might continue in goal.
- Kingsley Coman has a foot injury, while Jamal Musiala is ruled out for several weeks with a thigh injury. Alphonso Davies suffered an ACL tear playing for Canada and will miss the rest of the season. Dayot Upamecano is back in light training after suffering a knee injury, while Hiroki Ito broke his foot recently.
- Eric Dier has never let anyone down in his Bayern career so far and is good option in central defence, as another defender Min-Jae Kim has an Achilles injury which needs monitoring. Aleksandar Pavlovic is nearing a return to the squad after recovering from glandular fever.
- Yan Couto is available after suspension, but Nico Schlotterbeck has played his last football of the season after suffering a muscle tear.
- Marcel Sabitzer is ruled out for several weeks with a knee injury, so the likes of Waldemar Anton or Salih Özcan might have to help out in midfield.
First half one of the worst quality games of both teams all season. Second half if became a football game.
