Team News

Juventus
Atalanta
  • Federico Gatti is dealing with a bit of fatigue and could be rested for Pierre Kalulu, who returned to action on Monday.
  • Renato Veiga is in the final stages of his recovery from a recent injury, while Francisco Conceição and Nicolò Savona will be unavailable for a couple more days.
  • Stefan Posch will be out for a month and is expected to be replaced by Rafael Tolói, as Atalanta are now without four centre-backs due to injury.

Prediction

  • Despite facing protests from their fans and a lack of support at the Allianz Stadium on Monday night, Juventus bounced back from their Coppa Italia exit with a very dominant performance and more than deserved 2-0 win over Verona, which was also their fifth league win in a row.
  • Atalanta were quite wasteful against Venezia and unable to take advantage of the draw between Inter and Napoli, dropping points for the third time in their last five matches.
  • With Juve potentially back in the title race as they are six points off Inter, a win against Atalanta could not only see them catch up on the Bergamaschi in third place, but also dent the visitors' title ambitions this season, as Gian Piero Gasperini's side will have a very tough schedule up until Easter.
  • If Juve can replicate the tactical fluidity that was on display the last time both sides met, while also limiting Atalanta's forwards better, then they will have good chances of getting all three points in this fixture for the first time since 2018.

  • Mottas has to go LOL

  • Juventus DC - 1.46 | Draw - 3.45 | Based on my analysis and form, I see this could be another draw. While Juventus owns Atalanta in H2Hs but the 5 of last 6 H2Hs have seen draw. Juventus are the only team in Serie A to not to lose at home this season. Atalanta has won 8 of last 10 in away and 2 of these 10 are draw. So all the roads leading to rome i.e., draw but go with Juventus DC for safer bet.
