Team News

Crystal Palace
Millwall
  • Marc Guehi will be assessed owing to a knee issue sustained in the 4-1 win over Crystal Palace. Having played the full 90 minutes, the centre-back should be fit to start against Millwall on Saturday.
  • That leaves just Chadi Riad, Cheick Doucoure and Joel Ward as Crystal Palace's only confirmed absentees here.
  • Oliver Glasner may go with the same XI that started the 2-0 win at Doncaster in the last round, which would see Justin Devenny start alongside Daichi Kamada in support of Jean-Philippe Mateta.
  • Romain Esse, who joined Palace from Millwall in the January window, will hope for a chance to feature against his former employers.
  • Joe Bryan and Raees Bangura-Williams are both doubts for Millwall this weekend, and Alex Neil will hope to have the former fit to start at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
  • Ryan Leonard, Macaulay Longstaff and Calum Scanlon are all missing for the Lions due to injury, while Aaron Connolly is ineligible for the Lions.
  • Liam Roberts impressed between the sticks in the 2-0 win at Leeds in the last round and may be given the chance to start.

Prediction

  • Crystal Palace made it four wins from their last five as they trounced Aston Villa 4-1 at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night. The Eagles don't have a great record at home this season, however, but will feel confident about securing a second successive victory in front of their own fans when they face Millwall for the first time since 2022.
  • The Lions did end a three-game winless run with a 1-0 win at lowly Derby last weekend, though conversely; Alex Neil's side have lost only one of their last nine. That sole defeat was a surprise 5-1 thumping at Plymouth in mid-February, and Millwall are in good form on their travels ahead of their short trip across the capital having won four of their last six away matches.
  • Nevertheless, with the form Palace are in, they should book their place in the next round of the FA Cup, though Millwall won't make things easy for the high-flying Eagles.
