Team News

Sheff Utd
Bristol City
  • Andre Brooks and Callum O'Hare both scored from the bench on Thursday but will likely have to wait for their chances in the starting XI with Chris Wilder likely to name an unchanged side here.
  • Harry Souttar and Oliver Arblaster are the only notable injury concerns in the Sheffield United camp heading into the second leg.
  • Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Ben Brereton should both return to the matchday squad after the were left out for fitness reasons last week.
  • Liam Manning will be without star centre-back Rob Dickie after he was sent off for hauling down Kieffer Moore on Thursday night.
  • Midfielder Joe Williams suffered an ankle injury during the first leg against Sheffield United and will miss the trip to Bramall Lane.
  • Expect Haydon Roberts to replace Dickie at the back, while George Earthy and Cameron Pring could also be recalled to the starting XI on Monday night.

Prediction

  • Sheffield United benefitted greatly from a controversial Rob Dickie red card in the first leg as Harrison Burrows' penalty was followed up by goals from Andre Brooks and Callum O'Hare in the second half. Providing a disaster, Chris Wilder's side will be heading to Wembley, although they will be keen to give their home fans a show rather than play for the draw on Monday.
  • Bristol City have a right to feel aggrieved given the controversial nature of Dickie's red card, but Liam Manning's men have no time to feel sorry for themselves as they face an uphill struggle to salvage their playoff dreams. Unfortunately for the Robins, they will need to end a five-match winless run away from home if they're to punch their ticket to Wembley.
