The number one reason a club doesn't want to be relegated is money. And playing in the Champions League is more of a motivator than money. It's a matter of prestige.

So happy that Wigan won the FA Cup, but the final really ought to be held AFTER the regular season. What will be Wigan's mindset and how tired will the be? Anyhow, they're clear favorites, as a team that wins major silverware has to be better than one that doesn't!
It's been 15 years since Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League.. don't win today & it's gonna be thursday nights in eastern europe for the Gunners!
Wigan would probably get relegated if they don't win. They must win, I believe they'll end up winning since their confidence is higher than ever after winning the FA Cup. They don't want to play Europa League in Championship, so they'll be extra-motivated to win this match despite they might be a bit tired. I usually offer a little sympathy for Arsenal, but not this time, sorry.
