  • Ozist

  • Oh and congratulations to Petr Cech for breaking David James' clean sheet record. It always looked strange to me to have maybe the 20th best GK in EPL history being on top in terms of clean sheets. Now it's somebody in the top 3.

  • I said below we needed a big performance and win. We got 50% of that. Really this should've been 5 or 6-0 given the genuine chances we had. I feel a bit for Oezil. He was superb today and set up some pretty simple chances which Walcott missed. Mesut should really be on 22+ assists by now but without world class finishers ahead of him, he is never getting value for service. Chambers did ok. He'll face better midfielders but he was pretty calm in possession, didn't try to do too much and seemed assured. All in all, a decent win. Wenger please rest Oezil for the game against Newcastle.

  • Interceptions should be weighted higher.

  • O-Z-I-L

  • Mesut Ozil is an absolute MACHINE. One goal, one assist and 8 key passes so far.

  • @TacticalMastermind Only one dribble...

  • @TacticalMastermind could have been 3 assists if not for giroud and walcotts poor finishing. Anyhow, mesut is the best ! COYG !

  • What a defense from Bournemouth in the 1st goal...

  • 1-2 born win

  • Typical Arsenal.

  • Ozil has done it again

  • Ozil 26 Assists ? He is the whole team

  • @Logical 16

  • Campbell to score

  • Mad Arsenal will destroy Bournemouth. All respect to visitors if they will at least score.

  • Flamini will miss this game

  • over 2.5

  • Arsenal win 3-0

  • ozil to assist 1 and score 1. 2:0

  • @MareSerb Well done, sir!

  • @MareSerb Fucking Right , 100% accuracy !

  • @MareSerb Nostradamus

  • Line up: Cech, Gabriel, Monreal, Bellerin, Koscielny. Ramsey, Chambers, Alex Iwobi, Campbell, Ox and Theo upfront! Don't start Giroud and Mertesacker, they slow the game down and Flamini is not reliable. Give Chambers a chance.

  • start with Campbell, Walcott and Ox upfront, rest Ozil, he will get injured and season will be over, start with speed upfront and don't start Giroud neither, he slows the game down and only use him as a sub! Don't repeat the Southampton game because you are doomed Mr Wenger!

  • Wenger HAS to rest Oezil. He's our best player and without Cazorla, the only one who looks like creating anything against the best defences. Against Bournemouth we shouldn't really need him but in the long-run we obviously will. Campbell can play in the 10 with Walcott and Chamberlain either side of Giroud. Yet again something (or lack of something) in the training methods/nutrition at Arsenal have caused a pile-up of injuries and it could very well cost us. I don't know how many times it has to happen for somebody of importance (ie the board) to do something about it. Bournemouth have banana skin written all over em. After the appalling display against Southampton, we need a good performance and preferably a big win to show it was a blip against our bogey team as opposed to the start of a run which will ultimately prevent us from winning the title. I don't see it myself but I do think we'll win so 1-0.

  • @SteveHyland I think it would be more likely that Ramsey or the Ox would play as a 10. I do concede that Joel can play there too though.

  • 2-1/3-1 Arsenal Wins

  • The gunners have very little depth to rotate, so I would like to see Alex Iwobi and 'The Jeff' given some minutes. Would also like to see Chambers start over Flamini. I think Bournemouth will be fired up for this so I predict a draw 1-1. A win would be precious for The Arsenal. MOTM Theo

  • Feel Bournemouth can get a draw (at best), even if Arsenal still hurting from the great Saints :)

  • 3-0

  • There's no one to bring in to rotate. Gabriel, Chambers, Debuchy, Gibbs and Oxlade-Chamberlain haven't played much. Except for Ozil, the other midfielders haven't been playing all season, due to injuries or other players' form, so perhaps aren't that fatigued. A chance to bounce back quickly, but Bournemouth shouldn't be taken lightly. Probably a few or no changes, and a low-scoring game.

  • I fancy Bournemouth here as Arsenal only have two days to recover form.

  • @TinpotBournemouth lol 3 thumbs down so far .. can't wait until tomorrow to prove you all wrong :D

  • @TinpotBournemouth Another thumbs up beat the mediocre team of the decade.

  • @TinpotBournemouth Have a thumbs up.

  • Can we actual affo d too rotate and if so who should come in ?

  • @daja411 Ozil looked really jaded on boxing day and needs a rest. I'd rather rest him for this one match to avoid losing him the remaining 17 matches of season. Gibbs could play on the left wing, Ox behind the striker, and Campbell of the right wing. Walcott should lead the line so Giroud could have a breather.

  • @Valor wonder if Cech will start he had a really bad game last nite

  • @daja411 Gabriel Paulista and Oxlade-Chamberlain. Rest not worth mentioning.

  • @marcinqt chamber may get a rear start too
