That game was Mignolet in a nutshell- Superb shot-stopper, absolute dumb-arse when it comes to decision making. It's understandable why he was off his line- Sakho and Lovren are "error leading to a goal" statistics waiting to happen but why not take an extra couple of steps back once you've already started to retreat just to be safe? Had he done so, Vardy wouldn't have even been able to take the shot on but Mignolet decides to leave an inviting gap and we all know what happened next. Liverpool fans will be asking why Mignolet was offered a new contract when Jack Butland, the only England keeper since David Seaman with true world class potential, would cost maybe £20m given Stoke's lack of pulling/keeping power and financial resources.
@SteveHyland leicester fan here, but you cant make stuff like that up about stoke. they along with everton were the only two clubs to splash the cash on deadline day and actually have the pulling power to attract their main targets.
One of the best goal i've ever seen.courage, rìsk, accuracy, technic and finaly power. Thanks a lot Vardy.
And MEhrez was about scoring a very beutiful one in the first half.
@sampo Martial's against Stoke and Alli's against Palace were both better goals than Vardy's last night. It was a great hit, but the former two were better.
@sarigginsUSA Yes, but usually a good manager works with the people he has and builds a system and tactics around them. Klopp does the opposite, he has players for possession type football but plays pressing, counterpressing counterattack football. This us a bit odd...
liverpool midfielders are all bad. Lallana rarely makes the difference in the last yards. Milner and henderson are not comfortable with the ball and they don't make the forwards confortable. Can is too slow and often overhits the ball. Liverpool absolutely needs world class midfielders because there is no conccurrence in this area.
@modric1997- Can is alright when he isn't asked to do more than he can, no pun intended. Liverpool do need a deep-lying playmaker or box to box midfielder to sit next to him though to prevent him needing to go forward. Guendogan's name has been mentioned, he would certainly offer something Liverpool don't have atm and when Coutinho is fit again to play in the 10, Liverpool would suddenly have a very good starting midfield trio. The back 5 is your problem. Only Clyne can defend from any 4 of a possible 8 across the back and Mignolet is a liability who can lose you games from absolutely nowhere.
take off albrighton - hasnt had much of an impact in months. plus gray/vardy scapmering, interchanging and outpacing the LW together could be very effective
I think Mahrez might play as a floating CAM to counteract Liverpool's pressure if their plan A doesn't work, similar to his role in the comeback vs. Aston Villa if I remember correctly.
Fuchs is also underrated, he plays a very unique, almost floating wingback role at times. Very similar to Dani Alves, but acting more defensively and more physically.
@neumi17 Maybe, but Leicester do what few teams do and play to their strengths! Leicester are full of players who have a point to prove:
Fuchs-redemtion
Vardy-good enough for the big stage
Schmeichel-not just a legend's son
Albrighton-prove Aston Villa wrong about releasing him
Huth-still has a few years in him.
Morgan-good enough for the big stage
Kante-deserves his spot in the team
That's just a few. When you combine strategy, confidence, motivation, and humility, you get a great team. This is what Leicester has.
Kante is sooooo underrated. Without him, Leicester's strategy would collapse. He acts as a box to box midfielder and is amazing at breaking up plays, stepping in and starting attacks. IMO this is what LFC are really lacking. Henderson would be that player if not for injuries. I think Liverpool should aim to get someone like that next window. Ryan Leonard of Southend, or a Delph.
@sarigginsUSA, fekir would be the perfect winger for liverpool instead of lallana. But fekir will never come because he said that his wish is to join arsenal .
Wow. Mark Lawrenson from BBC, Paul Merson from Sky Sports and WhoScored predict the game will go either Leicester or Draw. Let us see how Liverpool perform. Can't wait!
ohh boy this is going to be as open as the Arsenal game. as a neutral Im scrapping to watch my team and will watch this game instead as I believe it will be contender for game of the season! Leicester will attack and so will Liverpool. defenses of both teams will decide this game and I believe there will be at least 4+ goals in this game! may the best win! Salut
This is a very interesting matchup for me, neither team's defense is great, so it should have at least 3 goals. Liverpool are inconsistent while Leicester had a slight dip in form. Whichever way this may go it should make for a great, very open game.
Leicester must show a lot of character in this match and the next match against Mancity by winning both or at least win one and draw one to strenghten their fight for the trophy
Vardy is the biggest surprise in last few BPL season.

Leicester is doing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 point gap now!

@WilliePete If you said the former two goals were better in your opnion it would be fine but as it is you sound like you are the holder of the truth.
Klopps system doesn't work ( anymore)...
@neumi17 It does. Remember that this LFC team has not been selected by Klopp... I expect a fairly large overhaul this summer.
@sarigginsUSA Yes, but usually a good manager works with the people he has and builds a system and tactics around them. Klopp does the opposite, he has players for possession type football but plays pressing, counterpressing counterattack football. This us a bit odd...
that vardy goal was special
Liverpool need some new players specially at their awful defense. great day for vardy.he can be helpful in the national team.

WHAT A GOAL BY VARDY!
What a goal by Vardy!!!!
OMG what a goal from Vardy :D
take off albrighton - hasnt had much of an impact in months. plus gray/vardy scapmering, interchanging and outpacing the LW together could be very effective
2-0 Leicester
@BetterListen I should have better listened... ;-) right on!
3-1 just a prediction but any thing can happened in this game
I think Mahrez might play as a floating CAM to counteract Liverpool's pressure if their plan A doesn't work, similar to his role in the comeback vs. Aston Villa if I remember correctly.

@sarigginsUSA He sucked in the Bundesliga though...

@sarigginsUSA In terms of goalies and Strikers I think Liverpool should go for Lopes and Fekir, both from Lyon.
@sarigginsUSA, fekir would be the perfect winger for liverpool instead of lallana. But fekir will never come because he said that his wish is to join arsenal .
@modric1997 He did? =(
Got a feeling Liverpool will sneak this 2-1. More a hunch than a head decision.
@SteveHyland I hope!
Leicester will see this as a must win game seeing as their next 2 games are away from home against Man City and Arsenal. 2-1 to the foxes.
1-1
3:0 easy home win
Expecting Leicester to lift the BPL trophy
Wow. Mark Lawrenson from BBC, Paul Merson from Sky Sports and WhoScored predict the game will go either Leicester or Draw. Let us see how Liverpool perform. Can't wait!
let's bang it again. Liverpool!!!YNWA.

Leicester - Liverpool 3:2
Liverpool win, Henderson MOP

I will bet 100 euro on 0-1 for Liverpool
Leicester win 2-0
@zardonic well done
leicester 1-0 liverpool
2-1 Leicester.
1-0
My heart says Liverpool, my mind says Leicester. 3-2 Leicester, Kante will run the midfield, another Jamie Vardy goal, Firmino will score.
@sarigginsUSA me too.
Leicester - Liverpool 2:0
@necracker well done
The foxes will continue on their adventure (on the run) and take another win
Leicester must show a lot of character in this match and the next match against Mancity by winning both or at least win one and draw one to strenghten their fight for the trophy
liverpool will be tired after extra time against stoke and the FA cup game against westham. we will be refreshed 2- 1 to the mighty blue foxes !!
Leicester>Liverpool
@TacticalMastermind 1>0
Im going for 2-2
Leicester will be too strong for Liverpool, treating every league game like a cup final now.
2-0 for leicester ..mahrez to score
