West Brom had 1 shot on target but scored twice, Campbell missed a sitter which even I would score and Cazorla, who before today had a 100% penalty record, slipped and missed (the only way he would miss). Pretty much everything which could go wrong did in this game. That just means our bad luck has been used up for this season. Ha. Wenger has promised Alexis will get a rest once the injury list has diminished. That means never!
Sanchez will probably be rested so he is fresh for the must-win game against Zagreb on the 24th. He's looked jaded in last few weeks and it's pointless Wenger asking him if he is ready to play because Alexis will always say yes- even if he has both legs hanging off. Whichever XI we put out, the game will: Arsenal possession, WBA sticking 11 behind the ball and looking to counter. Pretty sound game-plan against us. It just depends how long they hold out and, obviously, if they score. They will look to set plays as a genuine scoring option with our terrible zonal marking. With Mertesacker and Koscielny, the defence is solid so I don't think they'll score. Will go with a conservative prediction of 2-0 with Cazorla (who looked sharp against England including a superb finish) MotM.
0-1 tight win for the Arsenal. Pulis will park the bus and rely on counter-attacks, set plays and long balls to Rondon. Ozil MOTM. Also keep an eye out for some good-ol traditional Tony Pulis rough-housing.
West Brom are the lowest scorers this season and have been off par completely, I believe Arsenal will come here and dominate the game despite playing away, as we normally see from the Gunners.
My bet is a clean sheet and a 0-3 away win for the Gunners.
Arteta was woeful. Only on the pitch for 35 or so mins and manages to make 2 errors leading to 2 goals.
